IBM Planning Analytics Model Documentation with "ACG Reveal"

"ACG Reveal" is a custom utility that will connect to an IBM PA environment and "reveal" its inner structures and workings. It will provide a comprehensive output outlining the detail of all model components per user selection.

The utility includes a user-friendly interface that help configure the tool.  "Revelation" can be created and saved for future reference / use by individual users. The revelations are stored in a JSON file locally so that users can retrieve saved settings for subsequent document retrievals.

Access is only allowed for IBM PA Model Administrators. The utility inherits the security profile from the underlying IBM PA Model.

The utility will work with any IBM Planning Analytics environment - including on-premise and IBM PAoC (IBM Cloud). IBM PA SaaS (AWS) and the newly released Azure deployment will be available in the next release.

To begin using ACG Reveal, a connection must be configured (Figure below).  Simply input the necessary information and click save to create a new configuration. Existing connections can be edited by selecting it from the “Connection” drop-down menu.
