ACG Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Planning is a pre-configured Capital Asset planning model that is powered by IBM Planning Analytics. The model is built using industry best practices in managing Capital Expenditure, however it also offers the flexibility for every customer to adjust to their specific needs. ACG CAPEX Planning improves plan accuracy, predictability, accountability, and facilitates collaborative planning while automating the planning process.

The model provides the capability for all planners to collaborate on a scenario in real time. Each planner will have access to their particular cost center / department. They will use the same input form / interface and results will be stored and calculated in the application in real time. Users can decide to use either the web form or Excel for both input and reporting. The model is integrated with IBM Planning Analytics software and the budgeting and forecasting process. Any changes in CAPEX assumptions are reflected in the company financials in real time.
