Integration of IBM Planning Analytics with ChatGPT to Automate Analytics using Generative AI

In this live Webinar we will discuss and demonstrate a tool that uses the IBM Planning Analytics for Excel API to retrieve data from IBM PA and sends to ChatGPT for analysis. ChatGPT analyzes that data and returns a written commentary with explanations in text format
This tool can help reduce cost and automate some of the core activities in FP&A or analytics in general. It can help automate the initial analytical review and create commentary with core business insights. This will give the financial analyst a head-start on investigating drivers of business performance and help them focus on more value-add activities. The results from ChatGPT can be loaded back into IBM PA in commentary format and managed or further enhanced in the platform. It can also be sent to wider audience using email or copied into Word or PowerPoint.
The tool and results can be modified and tuned / trained to analyze different sets of data or level of detail, which would make the results more accurate and provide deeper insight. There are some known innovations in the ChatGPT space that will come out shortly that will boost the capabilities even further.
